Tom Wambeke

Tom Wambeke has degrees in educational science and in cultural management. Before joining the Centre, he was an assistant professor at the University of Leuven, Belgium, and a specialist in distance learning innovation in higher education. He has also worked as a project manager, trainer and consultant in Europe and Africa.
He is now a Programme Officer within the DELTA unit, specializing in innovative educational technology and lifelong e-learning.
Tom advises and assists colleagues, outside customers and partners on training and learning methods and technology, with a focus on information and communication technology for e-learning and face-to-face training. He monitors and contributes actively to international conferences and engages with international professional communities through blogs, podcasts, wikis and forums.
