The positive impact of experiential learning and game playing on learning outcomes is increasingly recognized by the adult education and learning industry. Play promotes creative problem solving and allows learners to experience failure and success in a safe learning environment that prepares them to apply learning to the real world. Experiential and game-based learning can be leveraged as a tutorial for coping with real-life challenges including decision making in business, work and life. This training will for the first time introduce the ILO's and ITCILO's entrepreneurship games collection to the public and train enterprise development practitioners on the use of game-based learning methods and strategies.
