The course - the second in a series on the transition to the formal economy - follows a policy-cycle management approach and aims to build capacities among government officials, social partners and relevant stakeholders to enable them to design, implement and monitor a national integrated policy framework for the transition to formal employment.

The course - the second in a series on the transition to the formal economy - follows a policy-cycle management approach and aims to build capacities among government officials, social partners and relevant stakeholders to enable them to design, implement and monitor a national integrated policy framework for the transition to formal employment.

Target audience

Target audience

The course is aimed at policy-makers, planners from labour ministries, technical staff of relevant ministries (finance, social affairs), representatives of workers' and employers' organizations, as well as organizations representing informal workers, enterprises (cooperatives, NGOs) and development agencies. A gender-balanced participation is sought.
