This course looks at the World Bank Procurement Framework and Regulations for Projects after July 1, 2016. The aim is to improve the capacity of procurement practitioners to plan and execute international competitive bidding operations for the procurement of equipment and construction works in IFI-funded projects. It explores the key provisions of the World Bank procurement guidelines and bidding documents for the procurement of goods and works. It also includes group work to enable participants to apply the knowledge they have acquired to the preparation of a procurement plan and the related bidding documents, using case studies of typical procurement operations.
