This course looks at the World Bank Procurement Framework and Regulations for Projects after July 1, 2016. This course explains the significance of public procurement for national development and good governance. It explores options for reforms of the legal, institutional and managerial frameworks of public procurement using the OECD Baseline Indicators Tool for the diagnosis of national public procurement systems. In addition, it incorporates the skills required for planning and executing procurement operations for goods, works and services, including the selection of consultants.
