In recent years, Turin's ACT/EMP Programme has successfully developed training materials and courses in a number of topics relating to advocacy for a healthier and more predictable business environment and providing services to EO members. In the field, ACT/EMP has conducted successful experiments in "Evidence (research) based Strategic Advocacy and Lobbying" that, with the proper follow-up, have been successful in achieving policy changes aimed at improving the business environment. The purpose of this course is to improve EOs' capacities in research, drafting policy proposals, advocacy and communication strategies, as well as in the follow-up process this entails. There are plans for a regional roll-out of this course.
