As a follow-up to the Global Workers' Academy on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), this course aims to develop union capacities in Asia and Pacific to shape and influence the full implementation of the agenda. With the wide acceptance of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development together with its goals, targets and indicators, there is a great need for unions to play an active role in defending and promoting workers' interests at national level, where responses and strategies are crucial for the follow-up and review process.
