3rd Summer School on Gender Economics and Society
The third “Summer School on Gender Economics and Society” is taking place on campus from 4 to 8 July 2016. It is organized by the Centre with the University of Turin, Polytechnic of Turin, CeRP-Collegio Carlo Alberto and CHILD-Collegio Carlo Alberto, and funded by the Italian Government and private sponsors.
This summer school offers an opportunity for in-depth analysis and discussion on the links between gender and economics, their different implications for society, such as the role of women in a more inclusive and dynamic vision of society itself.
Participants are students of economics, sociology, politics, demography, management engineering, as well as representatives of national institutions responsible for the development of economic and social policies, and international agencies from 12 countries.
It is part of a wider range of training courses on gender issues, non-discrimination and equal opportunities in employment, offered by the Centre, such as the biennial Gender Academy with hundreds of experts from governments, social partners, academia, and civil society.
