A new MOU for the Centre
On Tuesday 6 November, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed by the ILO, the Turin Centre, the Federal Council of Business Administrators (CFA) of Brazil and the Regional Councils of Business Administrators of the States of Rio de Janeiro and Rio Grande do Sul.
The signing ceremony was attended by the Director of the ILO Office in Brasilia, Ms Lais Abramo, and the Centre’s Director of Training, Mr Antonio Graziosi. The ceremony took place on the occasion of an international congress organized by CFA in Rio de Janeiro on the role of business administration in promoting the UN Global Compact. The congress was attended by over two thousand business administration practitioners and students.
The purpose of the Memorandum of Understanding is to provide the legal and institutional background for the running of tailor-made training courses relating to the ILO Decent Work Agenda in Brazil, and for the participation of Brazilian business administrators in relevant standard courses in Turin.
