Another example of the Centre’s capacity to deliver on demand
Upon request of the Ministry of Public Administration (MOPA) of the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, the ITC-ILO designed a tailor-made training activity entitled “Procurement Training Programme for Joint Secretaries from Bangladesh Civil Service”, taking place from 30 May to 12 June 2016 on campus and in Rome.
The course is designed to provide a forum both for learning and for applying this learning in practice, as well as for sharing experiences. It comprehensively covers the whole spectrum of technical, procedural and business competencies needed for the successful implementation of the procurement process for goods and intellectual services. An overview of the Sustainable Development Goals and Public Private Partnerships is also included in the training programme.
Participants will be introduced to the procurement best practices adopted in an Italian Public Authority (the Municipality of Turin), in an Italian private company and in one of the most important organizations within the UN family (the FAO in Rome).
