The Centre welcomes the delegation from the Government of Bangladesh
Further to a request by the Bangladesh Rural Electrification Board (BREB), Bangladesh Water Development Board (BWDB), Local Government Engineering Department (LGED) and Roads and Highways Department (RHD) of the Government of Bangladesh, the Centre is implementing a workshop on “Electronic Government Procurement Management” from 7 to 11 September 2015.
This is the second batch of the 120 governmental officials that will benefit from this forum dedicated to the current e‐procurement system in Bangladesh and new trends available. The main objective of this training activity is to provide participants with an enhanced and active role in planning and implementing initiatives for e‐procurement solutions in their organizations and in the public sector, with full understanding of the technical, legal and economic implications.
Participants will be exposed to the EU e-procurement, in particular the implementation of the different solutions in Italy, both at central and regional levels with the opportunity of interacting with representatives from the Italian Central purchasing organization and responsible for e‐procurement at the national level (Consip), CSI Piemonte (IT Service Management for Public Administration), and the regional central purchasing bodies for Piemonte (SCR).
