The Centre welcomes the delegation from the Government of Bangladesh
Electronic Government Procurement Management from 4 to 8 April 2016
This is the fourth and last set of the 120 government officials who will benefit from this forum dedicated to the current e‐procurement system in Bangladesh and new trends. The main objective of this training activity is to give participants from the Bangladesh Rural Electrification Board (BREB), the Bangladesh Water Development Board (BWDB), the Local Government Engineering Department (LGED) and the Roads and Highways Department (RHD) an enhanced and active role in planning and implementing initiatives for e‐procurement solutions in their organizations and the public sector, with full understanding of the technical, legal and economic implications.
Participants will be exposed to the EU e-procurement system, in particular the implementation of different solutions in Italy, both at central and regional levels, with the opportunity to interact with representatives from the Italian Central purchasing organization responsible for e‐procurement at national level (Consip), CSI Piemonte (IT Service Management for Public Administration), and the regional central purchasing bodies for Piemonte (SCR).
