The ILO Summer Academy on Sustainable Enterprise Development
From 15 to 26 September in Turin, Italy, the ILO Summer Academy on Sustainable Enterprise Development will provide the participants with an overview of existing tools and knowledge base in the enterprise development field with an emphasis on the role of the private sector in social and economic development. It will impact on the quality of employment generated by enterprise development programmes at the national level.
The ILO Summer Academy on Sustainable Enterprise Development offers a unique opportunity to study a rich programme of different topics under the guidance of leading ILO enterprise development specialists plus independent experts and academics, who are familiar with ILO approaches to enterprise development. There will also be inputs from UNIDO and other organizations.
This training programme provides participants with a learning experience that combines a choice of topics with the chance to interact with a wide range of professionals working in the field of enterprise development. Thematic Learning Tracks will include: Microfinance and the Informal Economy; Enabling Environment and LED; Sustainable Enterprise and CSR; Women Entrepreneurship and Gender; and Value Chains and Business Service market development.
