Turin International Summer School: Migration - Challenges and Opportunities for Europe
The third “Turin International Summer School on Migration - Challenges and Opportunities for Europe” will take place in Turin from 20 September to 1 October 2010.
This training activity will be run jointly by institutions based in Turin (the ETF, UNICRI, the ITC-ILO, the University of Turin and the University Institute of European Studies) in collaboration with FIERI (the International and European Forum of Migration Research), under the auspices of the International Organization for Migration and the International Institute of Humanitarian Law, with the financial support of the “Compagnia di San Paolo".
As in previous years, the course is for graduates and young professionals. Final-year undergraduates may also apply. Knowledge of legal, economic and social subjects is an asset. The working language is English.
The course is an intensive workshop that combines theoretical and practical approaches to provide participants with specific knowledge of economic, legal and social aspects of immigration flows within the EU.
Full-time attendance is required throughout the course. A certificate of attendance will be given to participants who attend the sessions regularly.
