The final workshop of the project “Volver”, co-financed by the European Union and the Italian Ministry of Interior, will be implemented on campus by the Turin Centre and the association Tampep Onlus, on Wednesday 20 June 2012.
The “Volver” project is part of the framework of the European Return Fund. Its aim is to carry out a number of studies on the socioeconomic and cultural conditions of some countries of origin of migrant communities in Italy and the effects of the Voluntary Assisted Return programmes (RVA) carried out by the Italian government.
The final workshop will be an opportunity to present the results of research conducted on five selected countries: Bangladesh, Senegal, Nigeria, Ecuador and Egypt, as well to analyse the Italian situation with regard to RVA.
Participants in the event include Italian authorities and organizations, diaspora associations and official representatives of Embassies and Consulates.
The workshop aims to facilitate reflection and debate about Voluntary Assisted Return programmes and forthcoming actions for the period 2014 - 2020.
