You ask; we design and deliver.
For the first time, the regular open course on "Mainstreaming gender equality in the world of work" is being offered to people from Portuguese-speaking countries.
The course will run from 12 to 16 July on the ITC-ILO campus. It is designed for trade union, business, government and non-government representatives from Angola, Brazil, Cape Verde, Guinea-Bissau, Mozambique, Portugal and Timor-Leste.
The course aims to promote gender equality in the world of work, by:
- introducing participants to gender concepts; and
- providing them with a set of tools with which to bring gender-equality concerns into the mainstream of labour-related development activities and everyday work.
The contents have been adapted to fit into a dynamic one-week curriculum which will guide participants through an approach to gender equality based on the ILO’s concept of “decent work”.
