A new cooperation agreement
The International Training Centre of the ILO has just signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Human Capital Development Fund of the Ministry of Development and Institutional Reform of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste.
The Fund’s mission is to oversee all training programmes and projects for developing human resources in Timor-Leste.
The MoU was approved during a visit to the Centre by Mr Ismenio Martins da Silva, Executive Secretary of the Fund, and Mr Atanasio Soares, Assistant and Media Officer. During their two-day visit, on 24 and 25 January 2018, the delegation had the opportunity to explore areas and modalities of cooperation with the Centre’s Training Department.
The MoU – which has a duration of three years − will serve as a basis for cooperation on capacity-building and training initiatives in areas related to the country’s development priorities and Decent Work.
