Learning @ITC-ILO, anytime, anywhere
Mobile learning offers more people access to knowledge in more ways than ever before. The Centre is utilizing mobile tools to create high-quality, relevant and impactful learning experiences.
The combination of mobile devices and an increasingly connected world is transforming how and when people learn, expanding training beyond the classroom. ITC-ILO is adapting to these changing needs by using mobile tools to provide engaging, shared and interactive learning experiences.
New technologies and innovative training methods are bringing about a learning and communications revolution. Mobile learning can extend ITC-ILO’s activities into a variety of settings, through a broader range of interactions with people, exploiting different types of content.
We have identified three key advantages of mobile learning: improved ability to engage participants, with dynamic content, and lasting contact; more opportunities to share knowledge, from one to many, and from many to many; and the ability to connect and interact with information in new ways, generating meaningful insights and providing access to expertise and resources.
The learning experience may change, but our values of relevance, quality and impact remain the same.
