The Centre welcomes the President of the Italian National Commission for UNESCO
The President of the Italian National Commission for UNESCO, Franco Bernabé, addressed our Master students during the closing ceremony of the residential phase of the Master in “World Heritage and Cultural Projects for Development”.
Uncontrolled urbanization, environmental emergencies, social inequalities and technological diffusion were some of the subjects mentioned by the President during his speech to the 23 participants, coming from 13 different countries and selected from among over 100 candidates.
The meeting was also an opportunity for President Bernabé to become better acquainted with the international context of our Masters and to discuss how culture is recognized all over the world as a crucial factor in sustainable development.
