Welcome to the Learning Resources and Information Unit

The Learning Resources and Information Unit acts as a support to the Centre’s programmes and provides a specialist information service on the world of work and on learning-related issues.

It serves as a knowledge base of key information on work issues, sustainable livelihoods, and the work-related aspects of economic and social development, technological change and human rights.

Our goal is to provide access to the best information available on the topics covered by the training programmes.

LABORDOC is the ILO global database, produced and maintained by the ILO network of thirty-one libraries around the world. The Centre’s Learning Resources and Information Unit is a participant in this network.
