How to register
Regular courses
All the Centre's regular courses are open to candidates with grants or with their own sources of funding. These candidates should apply directly to the Centre for registration.
The application procedure enables us to match your needs to our courses and thus ensure that you get maximum benefit from your investment. It is therefore important to specify your language skills, job experience and/or academic background in your application.
To apply for a course, you must:
- note the details of your chosen course (title, course number and dates). If you don't have these, please get them from the course calendar
- download and fill in the registration form
- send the form to our Recruitment Unit:

Workers' Activities Programme courses
Training courses run by the Workers' Activities Programme are invitation-only. Additional candidates, who pay a reduced fee, may be accepted with the approval of the ILO's Workers' Group and its Bureau for Workers' Activities (ACTRAV).
Course costs
What do course costs cover?
For each activity on the calendar, the fee comprises a tuition cost and a subsistence cost. The costs are subject to change.
- Tuition costs cover:
course preparation, implementation and evaluation; training materials and books; the use of training facilities and support services, including online resources. Some courses include a study tour. - Subsistence costs cover:
- For courses based in Turin: full board and lodging on the Centre's campus; laundry; local study visits; a supplement for additional travel and living expenses during study tours (when foreseen); emergency medical insurance; some socio-cultural activities. Some courses give an allowance for incidental expenses.
- For courses outside Turin: full board and lodging, insurance and incidentals, depending on the facilities available at the course venue.
What's NOT included in course costs?
The prices shown do not include international travel costs between your home country and the course venue.
The cost of an Italian visa, airport taxes, internal travel in your home country and unauthorized stopovers is not reimbursed.
You must ensure that your passport and visa(s) are valid for all countries in which study tours are scheduled. Read more about visas here.
