Toth Evelin

Evelin Toth Mucciacciaro holds a BA in English language and literature (USA), a diploma from Croatia’s Industrial Democracy Centre, and certificates from advanced courses on European policy and European integration. She also has extensive learning and training experience with the ILO, the International Confederation of Free Trade Unions, the European Trade Union Confederation, the American Center for International Labor Solidarity, the Friedrich Ebert Foundation and other institutions.


As coordinator of international cooperation (1996-2000) and Head of the International Department (2000-2006) of the Union of Autonomous Trade Unions of Croatia, she spent ten years developing international trade union cooperation. From 2000 to 2004, she regularly contributed to the training of trade union leaders in tailor-made seminars and at the School for Social Dialogue.


She sat on several national and international bodies, and was a worker representative in Croatia’s tripartite delegation to the International Labour Conference in 2004 and 2005.
Since 2006, she has worked for the Programme for Workers’ Activities at the ITC-ILO, where she designs and runs courses for European trade unions on subjects ranging from organizing and leadership-building to collective bargaining and social dialogue.
