Mobile Engagement with Members – A Toolkit for BMOs!
Using existing mobile technologies, Business Member Organizations (BMOs) can improve the way they engage with their members.
Mobile technologies can be used as complementary tools in the framework of BMOs strategies aiming at
- Uniting their membership,
- Representing their interests,
- And providing services to them.

The toolkit provides tips and examples of methods and tools to engage with members more efficiently. It focuses on technology available for free to take account of the limited resources available to BMOs.
This toolkit was developed on the basis of previous work done by the ITCILO on mobile learning, notably in the context of Value Chain Development. It was adapted to the BMO context by Jeanne Schmitt, ITCILO Programme for Employers’ Activities.
