Master in Management of Development

This Master provides participants with the knowledge and skills for effective participation in the management of development programmes and projects. It explores the evolution of development theories and how successful national development requires integration of the outcome of sound socio-economic analysis with an enabling legal environment. The content is multidisciplinary, ranging from exploration of key topics in development economics to the rule of law and the factors influencing the design and effective operation of development institutions. In addition, the programme explores the full spectrum of managerial and analytical competencies needed for project cycle management (PCM) and the related interpersonal skills.

Fees

The tuition fee is Euro 8,000.

The fee includes:

•   Programme development and management;
•   Teaching equipment, training materials and documentation;
•   Use of training facilities and support services.

Board, lodging, travel expenses, transports and personal expenses for the period in Turin are not included in the cost of participation.
The cost of accommodation (bed and breakfast) at the ITCILO campus during the 18 weeks residential face-to-face part of the programme is Euro 5,550.

Meals are excluded and must be paid directly by participants in accordance with consumption.

However, participants may seek off-campus accommodation like in university residences which may be less costly.

The Programme Secretariat will provide interested participants with telephone and e-mail contacts of such residences.

A limited number of partial fellowships may become available from sponsors in order to facilitate the participation of deserving candidates from developing and transition countries that are unable to meet the full tuition fees.

Participants are therefore expected to finance their participation as much as possible. The admission criteria will take into consideration the participant’s self-financing potential as well as his/her educational and professional profile.

In the application form, you are kindly requested to indicate the portion of the tuition fees that you are able to finance.
