The International Training Centre of the ILO is organizing this course in Turin to acquaint participants with emerging technologies such as cloud computing, artificial intelligence, the internet of things, advanced analytics and blockchain. The general objective of the course, designed with employment injury institutions in mind, is to increase their capacity to prevent occupational accidents and diseases, manage compensation claims and promote new strategies for coping with future challenges.

The course is intended for decision-makers from ministries and institutions responsible for social security and OSH; senior officials and advisers from government institutions responsible for the planning, implementation and management of OSH; and workers' and employers' representatives involved in OSH policy-making at the national or regional level.
