This course aims to improve the capacity of procurement practitioners to plan and execute operations for the procurement of equipment and construction works in IFI-funded projects, adopting an optimal contracting strategy. It is based on the provisions of the World Bank Procurement Framework and Regulations for Projects after July 1, 2016, and related documents concerning the procurement of goods and works. The course also includes group work that will enable participants to apply the knowledge they have acquired in preparing a procurement plan and the related procurement documents, using case studies of typical procurement operations.
