Introduction to the course

The micro-course on Augmented Reality is aimed at TVET specialists, managers and teachers of TVET centers in order to develop their skills for creating a lesson using Augmented Reality (AR). The overall objective of this training is to strengthen the capacities of TVET professionals to improve the quality and dissemination of Augmented Reality in the field of skills development and vocational training, as well as to adopt effective approaches and tools to promote different forms of involvement and learning by users of vocational training.

Who attends this course?

Representatives, managers and staff of key TVET stakeholders, such as:

  • Pedagogical staff of TVET trainers' training centres;
  • Curriculum developers, didactical and managerial staff in National Training Authorities
  • TVET teachers and trainers, in-company trainers and mentors;
  • Managers of vocational training centres;
  • Experts and technical staff from CSOs, NGOs and other civil society actors, working in the field of TVET.

Throughout the 4 weeks, the participant will be able to select, design and implement an Augmented Reality lesson. The course will be structured as follow:

  1. Week 1: Learn how to use the EON Reality Education platform for the design of your AR lessons and discover AR methodologies of teaching
  2. Week 2: Design your Augmented Reality lesson
  3. Week 3: Feedback sessions on your lesson
  4. Week 4: Improvement and finalization of your AR lesson.

The micro-course will also include adds-on thematic webinars with subject matter experts on the future of AR and VR in skills development.

The course will provide you with a 3 month access to the EON Reality Education platform free of charge to test and implement the usability of AR in your teaching.

Format and methodology

During the course the participants learn to use the EON XR software including the pedagogical aspects related to the creation of their lesson. Once the lesson are designed, the participant can immediately implement their own lesson to their learners and get feedback from peers and trainers.


Participants will be required to have a good knowledge of written English as training materials will be available on the e-platform in this language.
