High quality leadership is the key to successful transformation. This course is designed to provide an understanding of contemporary and classic leadership models and how to put them into action. It establishes the foundation for a personal commitment to change and transformation in challenging and fragile settings, and provides tools and practical approaches for applying the learning.

The course is intended for representatives of governments (national and local), UN agencies, NGOs, employers' and workers' organizations, and civil society.

To contribute to the quality of leadership by providing opportunities for leaders and emerging leaders to develop and grow.

By the end of the workshop participants will have

  • Identified their personal leadership models
  • Reflected on how to inspire and motivate others
  • Practiced a range of influencing styles
  • Develop their leadership development pathway

Registration deadline: 25 January 2019.

Few fellowships are available.

Tuition fees cover programme development, administrative support, office supplies, training materials, and emergency medical insurance.

Subsistence costs (will be confirmed soonest) cover bed & breakfast, lunch and two coffee breaks for each day of the course.Travel between the participant’s home and the course venue is not included.
