Description

The main objective of the course is to better equip and orientate national and international stakeholders in the new SDG statistical monitoring system. The course aims to enhance institutional capacities to identify, collect, analyse and disseminate labour market information and other indicators related to decent work. It emphasizes the ICLS resolutions on the statistics of work, employment and labour underutilization as an important pillar of the new SDG indicator framework, not only for Goal 8 targets but also for targets in other Goals related to the decent work agenda.

The course is intended officials and statisticians of national statistical offices; statisticians at international organizations and development banks; national, regional and local government officials; and the staff of other types of organization with responsibility for conducting or supervising impact evaluations.
