The course consists of three phases for a total of 120 training hours.
During this preparatory phase, participants are expected to study a package of preparatory resources including reading
and multimedia, and then complete an online assessment. The pre-training phase requires 20 hours of self-guided learning on an online platform.
The on-site training consists of two intensive weeks of training at the ITCILO campus in Turin. It combines interactive
sessions with experts supported by the ITCILO staff as well as individual assignments to be completed as homework
during the evening. Home works will consist of tasks such as the drafting of technical or briefing notes that report on
quantitative exercises or summarize the essence of concepts taught during the lectures. An action-oriented, highly
participative approach is used with particular attention to sharing international experiences and adapting these to
Training methods combine lectures and discussions, case studies, group work and individual exercises. This phase is
delivered at the ITCILO in Turin and will consist of 80 hours of training.
The Post-training phase involves 20 hours of individual work to develop a proposal on applied project.
The assessment process will establish whether students have a full grasp of the skills and concept taught in the course
based on performance in the assignments completed in before, during and after the course. A Certificate of Achievement will be issued by ITC-Turin after the assessment process has been completed successfully.
