Course Information
This course aims to strengthen trade unions' capacity to defend and promote the rights of migrant workers within the frameworks of the ILO's fair migration agenda and fair recruitment initiative, DWCP and SDG processes. The course will assist in the shaping of trade union strategies and actions on migrant workers' rights to freedom of association and collective bargaining, the basic building blocks for ensuring civil liberties and social and economic progress. The main expected outcomes of this course are improvements in decent working conditions for migrant workers, healthier labour market and fairer societies. The course will also assist in the strengthening of union networks to facilitate the exchange of experiences and sharing of information regarding labour migration.

Target audience
Target audience
The course is aimed at office holders, including research officers, labour economists and educators who are aged 45 or under, of national or industrial level unions directly responsible for issues concerning labour migration, domestic workers and other categories of workers in vulnerable situations.
