The Centre’s involvement in ILO-EU cooperation on decent work and social justice
The ILO Office in Brussels has recently published the brochure "The ILO and the EU, partners for decent work and social justice. Impact of ten years of cooperation", launched at the 10th ILO-EU high level meeting in Brussels on 5 December, in the presence of ILO Director-General Guy Ryder.
The brochure focuses on the multi-facetted dimensions of ILO-EU technical cooperation over the last decade, both within and outside the European Union. By engaging with the ILO in technical cooperation, including evidence-based policy development, the EU contributes to the realization of decent work.
The Turin Centre has been closely involved in this cooperation, making contributions in the areas of social dialogue, employers’ and workers’ organizations, the labour market and social challenges, labour migration, children’s rights, indigenous peoples and gender equality.
