Creating Winning Ideas

When words fail, the imagination is sometimes sparked by a visual image. When working in intercultural contexts, visual approaches can build bridges to a shared understanding.

Visual thinking can be utilised to improve teamwork, communication, meetings, build engagement and plan work.  (See “History of graphic facilitation video”, or “Draw a stickman)

A one-day “Visual Facilitation Workshop” for Centre staff with Nancy White from Full Circle Associates will take place on campus on 21 January. The workshop will be based on participatory graphic facilitation approaches, to include using visuals as part of group learning.

Nancy White founded Full Circle Associates to help organizations connect through online and offline strategies. Nancy wears many hats: she is a facilitator (face to face, online and visually), an online interaction designer, and coach for communities of practice, online learning, teams and online communities.
