Green jobs: linking environment, climate change and the world of work
What transitions are we witnessing and what changes do we need to anticipate? How can decent work and green work match each other? What will the new social agenda look like, in the aftermath of the international climate change discussions? The International Training Centre of the ILO has launched a pilot training programme on "green jobs".
Two weeks of distance learning are being followed by face-to-face sessions, which started today in Turin. Course participants will also get follow-up training support in cooperation with ILO offices. The programme is designed for governments, trade unions and employers’ organizations. You can find more information on the website: http://greenjobs.itcilo.org
