Inauguration of the Academic Year 2012-13 at the Turin School of Development
The inauguration of the Academic Year 2012-13 at the Turin School of Development will be held at the Piemonte Conference Centre on Monday 4th March 2013 from 12pm to 1pm.
The new Director-General of Italian Cooperation for Development, Minister Plenipotentiary Giampaolo Cantini, the President of the Piedmont region, Mr Roberto Cota and the Mayor of Turin, Mr Piero Fassino will attend the ceremony.
Over the years, in collaboration with the University of Turin, the Politecnico di Torino and several UN agencies, the School has gradually expanded its training which currently includes seven Masters Programmes covering International Trade Law, Management of Development, Intellectual Property, World Heritage and Cultural Projects for Development, Public Procurement Management for Sustainable Development, Applied Labour Economics for Development, and Occupational Safety and Health.
In 2013-14, the Turin School of Development will expand the linguistic range of its programmes beyond English, to include Spanish and French, with the Máster en Patrimonio de la Humanidad y Proyectos Culturales para el Desarrollo and the Master en Gouvernance et management des marches publics en appui au développement durable.
