Agadir workshop on youth entrepreneurship and employment
A training Academy for 80 trainers and facilitators from three regions of Morocco was held in Agadir, from 17 to 23 February. On the agenda: a series of topics connected with entrepreneurship and financial education.
This training workshop, part of the ILO “Youth Employment” project, was planned for participants from the Sous-Massa-Drâa, Oriental and Casablanca-Kénitra regions.
Five associations of young project leaders, winners of the competition run by the “Jeunes pour Jeunes” Fund of the Youth Employment Network, presented their projects, the main beneficiaries of which are young men and women from the Sous-Massa-Drâa region. At the same time, they signed agreements granting them subsidies of DH 100,000 (approximately € 8,500) each.
The Academy brought together public and voluntary-sector service providers from the three pilot regions of the project, all determined to boost their support to young people in the areas of entrepreneurship, financial education and green employment.
