Our new website is now online!
The Turin Centre is pleased to announce the launch of its new, improved website at www.itcilo.org.
There are 255 million websites worldwide, 21 million more than last year. Nearly two billion people use the Internet, via desktops, laptops, tablets, palmtops and phones. We wish to provide them with content that is interesting, up to date and easy to find.
You will see a sharp new look, more opportunities for you to connect to the Centre, and tools to make it even easier for you to join us and take part in our training activities.
The revamped site has a more user-friendly layout, a new look and an expanded section on tailor-made training.
The site also includes testimonials from our participants. It is available in three languages, and a section in Portuguese will shortly be added.
Joining social networking sites and discussing the latest news has become even easier, as has reaching the Turin Centre “Participants’ Network” (http://alumni.itcilo.org).
We hope this new design will please you and prove useful. Take a look around it and sample some of the highlights:
- programme for the week, updated daily;
- longer-term calendar, so that you can check when the course you want will be on;
- current and past tailor-made activities, to inspire you to contact us for training on demand for you and your colleagues.
We are also hoping you will use this new website to engage with us by following us on Twitter (http://twitter.com/#!/ITCILO) and Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/itcilo) and checking the “Learning, Training &Technology blog”. Our L&T blog is a knowledge-sharing and staff-development tool at the interface of learning, training and technology. This blog will keep you up to date with news, ideas, tools and comments about learning methodology and technology.
We would love to know what you think of the changes. Send us an e-mail to email@example.com to share your thoughts with us.
Finally, don't worry - although our website may have changed, our programmes are still the same: unique and inspiring! And, of course, feel free to pass the news on to all your friends.
