Social Security Summer School – Your Time to Act is Now!
From 26 September to 7 October 2011, the Turin Centre will hold the first Social Security Summer School on its campus. Application Deadline: 19 August 2011
The Summer School is going to provide one of the most thorough training packages on social security, covering governance, financing, pension reform and the extension of social protection.
With plenary sessions on current issues in social security, such as the “social protection floor”, and coverage of technical fields through elective courses, the Summer School will enhance the capacity of key players to advise, design, manage, administer and supervise social security programmes.
Participants will tailor their own two-week course by choosing from 16 electives on social security topics, as well as benefiting from extensive networking in a dynamic, international learning environment. A pool of renowned resource persons, including Michael Cichon (ILO), Elliott Harris (IMF) and Monika Queisser (OECD), will enrich participants’ perspectives through their expertise.
