Short Supply Chains: an Alternative for Rural Development

Sixteen interregional participants from Africa, Asia and Latin America were involved in a specific event for exchange and learning focusing on the recent trend for short supply chains, in particular short food chains.

This was a preparatory step for the Third World Forum of Local Economic Development to be held from 13 to 16 October 2015 in Turin: http://www.ledforumtorino2015.org/

The training activity was implemented with the financial support of the Italian Government, in collaboration with the Programme for Rural Territorial Development with Cultural Identity (DRT-IC) of the Latin American Centre for Rural Development (RIMISP) and Slow Food.
