Inauguration of the Academic Year 2014 at the Turin School of Development
The inauguration of the Academic Year 2014 at the Turin School of Development will take place at the Piemonte Conference Centre on Wednesday 9th April 2014
The Director-General for Italians Abroad and Migration Policies at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Cristina Ravaglia, the Rector of the Università degli Studi di Torino, Prof Gianmaria Ajani and the Mayor of Turin, Mr Piero Fassino will attend the ceremony.
Over the years, in collaboration with the University of Turin, the Politecnico di Torino and several UN agencies, the School has gradually expanded its training to currently include nine Masters Programmes, covering International Trade Law, Management of Development, Intellectual Property, World Heritage and Cultural Projects for Development, Public Procurement Management for Sustainable Development, Applied Labour Economics for Development, Occupational Safety and Health, Patrimonio Mundial y Proyectos Culturales para el Desarrollo, Gouvernance et management des marchés publics en appui au développement durable.
Since 1990, over 2,500 participants from around the world have obtained Postgraduate and Master qualifications from the Turin School of Development.
In January 2014, the first edition of the Master en Patrimonio Mundial y Proyectos Culturales para el Desarrollo was launched in Barcelona, and in March 2014 the first edition of the Master en gouvernance et management des marchés publics en appui au développement durable was launched at the Turin Campus.
