We have now been training and making a difference for forty-five years!
The International Training Centre of the ILO has just celebrated its 45th anniversary in the service of global dialogue, decent work and fair globalization
On 3 December, to mark this important milestone in the life of the Centre, present and former staff, guests and local authorities gathered in the new “Piemonte” Pavilion to celebrate the event.
A brochure on the 45th anniversary gives you facts, figures and photos that tell the history of the Centre.
In addition, as part of the celebrations, a “United Nations Roundabout” will shortly become a welcoming symbol between Turin and the adjacent town of Moncalieri. A large fountain will surround a sculpture of the symbols of the UN and the ILO, at the centre of the “United Nations Roundabout”.
Turin’s “La Stampa” newspaper has organized an instant poll on the project, where you can express your views.
