MOU with the JCI
The ITCILO Employers’ Activities Programme has reached an understanding with the Jordan Chamber of Industries (JCI) to develop a tailor-made training product for improving the exporting capacities of small and medium-sized Jordanian companies.
The aim of the agreement is to establish a pilot Export Audit Service for the JCI, by delivering a blended training programme for the certification of 25 export auditors, and thus preparing JCI company members for the rigours of the export market. These auditors will assess the export potential and likely success of Jordanian companies wishing to export, with the objective of diversifying their markets, helping them to grow, and hopefully creating jobs.
The course will comprise six weeks of distance-learning activities through our e-campus training platforms and one full week of face-to-face training in Amman. The project will run until May 2019.
