This workshop explores the legal foundation and managerial processes for setting up public-private partnerships (PPPs) and maintaining their economic/financial equilibrium and effectiveness in service delivery. The workshop will cover factors influencing the decision to adopt PPP as a contractual method, payment availability set-up and planning for PPP implementation, as well as legal, economic (tariff levels) and service-delivery (duration and performance requirements) issues in tendering and managing PPP arrangements.
