Scientific co-Director - (PhD at University of Salford) is Deputy Rector at the Politecnico di Torino, Head of the Interuniversity Department of Regional and Urban Studies & Planning, Professor of Economic and Planning Evaluation and Vice-President of the Alumni Association.

She is an established figure in the field of evaluating sustainable development for over 20 years, publishing widely in the subject area and coordinating, or serving as lead partner, in a number of Pan-European Projects. She is member of the G8 University Council and of several International Scientific Committees on smart cities, e-governance and cultural heritage. Recently, she has become member of the Scientific Board of CSI-Consortium for Information Systems of the Piemonte Region. She is also member of the Editorial Board of all: Intelligent Building International Journal (Earthscan), Smart and Sustainable Built Environment (Emerald) and Territori(Compositori).
