A new Milestone for the CRM implementation in Latin America
After successfully installing the customer relationship management (CRM) software in five umbrella employer organisations in Latin America in 2014, the Programme for Employers’ Activities of the ITC ILO launched the project for a second round in March 2015.
From the 23rd to the 26th of March 2015 the first practical step within the CRM implementation procedure in Latin America took place at the Master User Training for Spanish speaking Employers’ Organizations in Lima, Peru. Eleven participants from 6 Employers’ Organizations from Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, El Salvador, Mexico and Venezuela attended this course.
At the four-day training two representatives of each participating EO were prepared to serve as focal points within their respective organization afterwards. Through presentations and practical exercises they became familiar with the software. The installation of this customizable tool is closely linked to the membership strategy of each EO, therefore the participants learned as well how to identify the needed personalization.
Following the Master User Training, shorter training events and final installations will happen for each of the 6 EOs participating in the project. Starting soon, the entire staff will be trained in handling the tool in another two-day workshop and the final installation at the local server will take place. The local implementation will be supported and facilitated by the regional ACTEMP specialist.
Next to big confederations also smaller territorial and sectoral organisations welcomed the introduction of the CRM software; in a few countries territorial and sectoral chambers requested the Confederation which is attending the project to transfer the software to them as well. For this reason with ITC ILO support, from the 8th to the 10th of April 2015 the tool has therefore been presented to eight sectoral and territorial organisations in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
