Digital and AI tools are reshaping how businesses operate and how they are supported.
For business service providers, the challenge is not only understanding these tools, but using them with confidence to work more efficiently, while helping the SMEs they advise adopt technology in ways that are practical, human-centred, and grounded in real business needs.
Introduction to the course
This course helps business service providers use digital and AI tools with confidence, boosting their own productivity while designing effective, human-centred digital support services for the SMEs they advise. Through short demonstrations, real-world examples, and interactive exercises, participants build practical skills and leave with their own digitalisation plan.
The course has been developed as part of the Productivity Ecosystems for Decent Work Programme, funded by the State Secretariat for Economic and Social Affairs (SECO) and the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (NORAD).
Course Structure
The course consists of five sessions plus a closing annex (approximately 5.5 hours), designed to build participants' knowledge progressively, from understanding digital and AI trends to translating learning into a concrete action plan.
