The Centre welcomes a delegation from the Ministry of Public Service, Labour and Social Welfare of Zimbabwe

The Minister, Hon. Dr Sekai Nzenza, accompanied by Ms Victoria Sigauke, Mr Liberty Taurai Mudima and Mr Itai Sydney Chivhunga, visited the Centre on 30 August and 2 September 2019

The delegation was welcomed by the Centre’s Director, Mr Yanguo Liu, and officials from the Partnership and Programme Development Programme (PRODEV).

During the subsequent series of meetings with the Training Department Director, PRODEV and Technical Programme officials, the delegation were able to obtain information on the Centre’s activities in the areas of:

  • International Labour Standards, Rights at Work and Gender Equality;
  • Employment Policy and Analysis and Skills Development;
  • Learning Innovation;
  • Social Dialogue, Social Protection, Labour Administration and Labour Inspection; and
  • Resource mobilization and partnerships.
