The publication on Blended and Hybrid Learning by ITCILO and ETUI gets you started on designing and delivering blended and hybrid trainings to ensure you smoothly leverage on available digital ecosystem.
Recognizing that the shift to technology-mediated learning approaches can be challenging, such as limited technological skills or enabling an inclusive online setting, ITCILO and ETUI joined forces to deliver a training for trade union trainers from across Europe in November 2024. Gathered at the Innovation Lab in Turin, they reflected on their experiences with blended and hybrid learning formats, discussed the challenges they face and co-created effective strategies for overcoming these obstacles.
As a result, the group co-authored a simple guide that synthetizes actionable recommendations to transforming your traditional training into blended and hybrid formats. Besides that, it includes a collaborative checklist that will assist you in the design and delivery of successful blended and hybrid training programs.
Hybrid training is an orchestra of planning, tech, and people. With the right conductor mindset, each note—from tech checks to empathy—becomes a harmonious learning experience.
The guide is now publicly available with the goal of inspiring and equipping facilitators and trainers around the world. Its purpose is to help anyone to build confidence and achieve success in implementing blended and hybrid training practices.
