This tutor-based online certification programme provides a step-by-step guide through the evaluation process, integrating current debates and hot topics discussed by the evaluation community, such as the use of methods and techniques adequate for complex interventions, particularly in the realm of SDGs; how to deal with different types of evaluation constraints; or the role of technology in evaluation practice. Participants will be exposed to both theory and practice, through a hands-on experience and a myriad of examples and tips.
The course is intended for a wide range of actors within the field of Evaluation, therefore, commissioners, managers and evaluators, but it also aims at a wider audience: technical specialists responsible for programming and monitoring, as well as officials from public sector, the United Nations and NGOs. The programme is also designed to meet the needs of the social partners and other decision-makers involved in the design and evaluation of public policies. Moreover, members of the research community involved in the design, implementation and evaluation of development programmes are also invited to participate.
