Presentazione del corso

The world of work is becoming increasingly complex, shaped by rapid technological advancements, shifting geo-economic and political landscapes, and evolving labour markets.

This tailor-made course, grounded in foresight and supported by AI, prepares individuals and institutions with the necessary capacity to manage key transitions and disruptions effectively. As disruptions become more frequent and complex, the need for a more strategic, forward-looking approach has never been more relevant. The programme treats disruptors as thought experiments to guide participants and their organizations toward more resilient, anti-fragile futures.

Chi si iscrive a questo corso?

ILO tripartite constituency, that is, workers’ and employers’ organizations and governments, but also extends more broadly to individuals and institutions navigating uncertainty with specific objectives:

  • Those already under pressure, who sense that existing arrangements are being stretched, that familiar ways of working are no longer sufficient, or that emerging challenges may soon escalate into more critical situations.
  • Those who feel relatively well-prepared but want to test that confidence, using disruption to stress-test assumptions and explore how their organization or system might respond to unlikely but highly transformative events.
  • Those seeking to build shared understanding, particularly in tripartite or multi-stakeholder contexts, can use disruption as a common reference point for collective sensemaking and alignment under uncertainty.
  • Those driven by curiosity, who want to remain agile, reflective, and challenged, and who see value in questioning the foundations of systems that otherwise appear stable.
How will I learn?

The programme is based on the Disruptive Futures Toolkit, which includes a series of structured methodologies and templates to guide the co-creative exercise. The toolkit helps to step outside habitual thinking and examine organizations or systems from a systemic perspective. It supports a shift from reactive adaptation toward building resilience, and, where possible, anti-fragility, not just for today’s challenges, but for the uncertainties of the future.

Who are the trainers?
